Established in 2012 Drawing Classes teaches observational and creative drawing through practical exercises and demonstration. Our art classes prove anyone can learn to draw.

Our students have a range of skill levels from complete beginners, those who have done a little drawing in the past and want to return to it, to very advanced students who wish to expand their skill base.

Our Mission is not just to teach everyone to draw but also to find and encourage the natural strengths and abilities of each individual. We provide high quality teaching and instruction in a supportive, fun learning environment.
Our Tutors
Hannah Beehre has been working as an artist for twenty years and teaching for over ten years. Trained at both Elam School of Fine Arts and the University of Canterbury Hannah has taught in the painting department of the later. She is currently represented by Nadene Milne Gallery in Christchurch and is author of the book 'Drawing in Flow' published in 2022.
